Torque Blog Post

This video was produced by Briggs and Stratton lawn mowing company. This video gives plenty of real life examples of torque. When it comes to lawn mowing torque is a more direct measure of power. The video explains that torque is a measure of rotational power. In the video, there is a diagram that shows the formula; t= r x f, which means torque equals rotations times force. It explains that an engine with more torque will produce more rotational power to the blade. The higher the gross torque rating the easier the job will be completed.

  1. Naeem I really like how your video has to do with a real life example. A lot of times we see examples in physics and are like, "That doesn't happen in the real world," it's nice to see a real example. Also it's cool how they show the equation for torque. My video also had to do with torque, the only difference my video had two types of torque in it. I think it would be cool to see this in person, and maybe do a demonstration to show how it can be easier or harder to cut something.
