Blog Picture

This is a picture of a lady resting atop a huge cliff. She has a ton of gravitational potential energy. This is because she is so very high up. GPE= weight x height. If she happens to fall then he potential energy will decrease because the height is getting smaller and the kinetic energy will increase because speed is getting faster. The formula for kinetic energy is 1/2 mass x speed squared. The total amount of energy whether she is falling or sleeping will be the same.
