Unit Picture

Here is a power strip. A power strip is basically an extension that allows the use of more sockets from one outlet. The power strip is wired in a parallel circuit. This is because the current from the wall connects to the multiple devices I have plugged in, even when one appliance is not in use.  Be careful! As I said, it is wired in parallel, which means that it will deliver more current with the more appliances plugged in. So don’t plug in multiple power strips to one socket and then plug multiple appliances into each power strip. This will draw too much energy and cause the power to trip.
